However, even more films may follow: Rise of the Beasts is planned as the start of a new trilogy, according to Deadline, while THR reports Paramount is working on a separate Transformers project written by Marco Ramirez (Netflix’s The Defenders) and directed by Angel Manuel Soto (Charm City Kings).
Two future movies are officially confirmed, including Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) and a currently untitled animated film (2024). There is currently a total of six feature-length Transformers movies.
